Pre and Post Competition
A pre competition workup can ensure your horse/dog is in optimum condition to perform its best. A post competition check up ensures any stresses and strains are picked up and dealt with before the horse develops any compensatory movement patterns.
Many owners choose to have a workup session in the days leading up to competition to ensure optimum performance in their animals. This can be a full bodywork treatment or a combination of bodywork and groundwork techniques to ensure the horse or dog is in optimum condition for perform. A treatment in the days following a competition or where the horse or dog has worked particularly hard is also beneficial to help relieve muscle tension but also prevent any compensatory movement patterns becoming established.
