Horse Riding Lessons

Lorna is an experienced British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach.  She coaches riders of all ages, abilities and disciplines.

What to expect

Lorna teaches riders of all ages and abilities in flatwork, dressage and jumping.  She worked for many years in a riding school before deciding to concentrate on her private clients.  As a McTimoney Animal Therapist she has a particular interest in horse and rider biomechanics and riders are amazed how small adjustments in their position can make huge changes in their horse's performance.

All riders and horses learn in a different way and have different goals.  Lorna takes a student focused approach to coaching and includes exercises that can be easily understood by both horse and rider to make lessons fun and rewarding.

By riding with more awareness and skill, riders are not only able to train and ride their horses more effectively but also in a way that strengthens and enhances the horse's body to obtain healthy movement and optimum performance in all disciplines.

Approved and accredited by the British Horse Society, Accredited Professional Coaches meet the highest standards within the industry. All coaches are required to constantly update and add to their knowledge and coaching skills through Continued Professional Development. They are also trained in First Aid, Safeguarding and covered by comprehensive insurance.
